Holk Turns 40.

Our buddy Holk turned 40 on Cinco De Mayo and had the MOST fantastic Mexican themed birthday party. The Holk's recently bought an authentic mid century home and they haven't changed the interior one bit, it's way too cool. Also, I haven't had authentic Mexican food in way too long, something I will have to get better at because it's so delicious!

Holk! Happy Bday!

I personally LOVE mid century design and this house is beyond cool because the original architecture hasn't been changed one bit and the Holk's furnished the house with mid century furniture. Some of my favorite touches were the floating fire place, the multi level open layout and the master bath that has his and hers sinks, one tub and a standup shower, oh and the walk in closet has a skylight! The fact that we got to eat authentic mexican food, drink beer and hang out with cool people was just icing on the cake.
