Alternate Reality

I ran across these photographs, by Richard Mosse titled the "infra series". He uses a discontinued military technology called Kodak Aerochrome. Originally used to detect those in camouflage, it alters the landscape, turning the green landscape into shades of pinks and purples. The photos are taken in the Congo, to depict the ongoing war and it's landscape. Do you ever wonder what the world would look like if green was pink and blue was yellow? When I was little I thought everybody saw colors differently but called them the same thing, like we all have our own vision or alternate reality. I think that's why I found these images to be so captivating.

Isn't it fab?!
