Bday Bar Bash

Bob and I had a really great time celebrating his bday. We got dinner at a new Italian restaurant in Birmingham, Bella Piattai. It was de-lish! Really great food, a bit pricey but perfect for a special occasion and the atmosphere was very cozy, which is perfect for a December meal. We then went to a few bars, ran into some familiar faces along the way and then took a walk home at about 2:30am in the park, which was filled with twinkling Christmas lights. A great ending to a great birthday of a great man.

This app was so tasty. Scallops with Brussel sprouts and a squash broth.
