honky-tonk

So, Bob and I started playing with a Honky-tonk band, John Holk and the Sequins. We've been fans of the group for a few years and are so excited to have been asked to join! A few of our friends started the group as a fun side project and play a mix of original songs written by John Holk and some classic Honky-tonk tunes. Some of my oldest friends (who just moved back to Detroit. yay!) came out to see us play. We had dinner at Green Dot Stables before the show (delish sliders- my favorite was the "Korean" with pork, kimchi and peanut butter. trust me.)
